HOW TO CLEAN BEDROOM!

The key to cleaning a room quickly is an understanding of which tasks to tackle first and knowing which tools you need before you start (so you don't have to walk back and forth through your house a million times), as well as possessing a simple list of instructions in the order you need to go in to ensure that not much thinking is required. Find all that and more in this post.

Tools and supplies to gather BEFORE you start cleaning:
  • Vacuum (with a hand attachment)
  • Dusting supplies of your choosing (like a gentle, all-purpose cleaner and an old wash rag)
  • A broom (or something with a long handle)
  • An old pillowcase
  • Window cleaner, wash rags

Clean your bedroom in this order:

1. Declutter and pick-up
Take things that don't belong in the bedroom out. Throw dirty clothes laundry into hampers and rehang up any outfits that you may have tried on and left out. Clear off your surfaces as much as you can of things that don't normally go on them.
2. Take an old pillow case and dust your fan blades (if you have a fan) or clean out any ceiling light fixtures. (Important to keep your dirty sheets on your bed to catch any falling dust and spider webs.) → How to Clean Your Ceiling Fan The Easy Way and → How To Clean Ceiling Light Fixtures.
3. De-spider web
Take a broom to the corners of your ceiling to dust away any spider webs.
4. Start the laundry
Strip your bed and take all your dirty laundry from the hamper and start a load in the washer.
5. Dust all surfacesPay special attention to the nightstand and dresser tops. Don't just dry dust...use a moist cloth to really swipe up dust and lock it away from resettling. Don't forget about the tops of mirrors, art and any accessories in the room.
6. Wipe the windows and the mirrors with window cleaner
7. Wipe/dust the blinds and vacuum the curtains

8. Vacuum the floor

I would like to add some points :
1. Make your bedroom pest free - It is very important that you ensure that your bedroom is not inhabited by anybody else, especially by bugs or any other insects. So before you start living in your dream bedroom, make sure that you call a pest control unit and disinfect the entire bedroom so that there’s no unwanted intrusion into your territory.
2. Clean and clean it all– It is important that you should clean the entire bedroom not leaving any nook and corner. Cleaning is not an option but a mandate to ensure that no germs, if any, are left by the previous residents of the house.

    1. If you don’t have allergies to dust, consider yourself lucky. Many people do and the result of being around it varies from a slight irritation in their nose or throat to hospitalization. I am not qualified to tell you what happens to you medically but I have Asthma and I am allergic to dust. Even with vacuuming and dusting my house twice a week, I have to take a shower immediately afterwards and sometimes I still need to use my Asthma inhaler.
